Production of the 1934 Nimbus model C
When the Nimbus model C was presented to the press on February 20, 1934, it was announced that the first series was going to be 250 units, and it was assumed that a production of 1.000 units per annum could be achieved. In addition it was mentioned that the first machine had been completed in May 1933, and that the previous year was used for testing and test-riding.
It can be assumed that the first ideas and sketches of the prototype took place in 1932 and 1933. In the archives of “Danmarks Nimbus Touring” one can find copies of product drawings, dated 1932.
